About ECE
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering commenced in the year 1994 with the vision of imparting quality technical education. The intake of students has been increased to 120 in the year 2001 from the initial intake of 60. The Department has been certified by ISO 9000:2001.
The department is equipped with Microprocessor and Microcontroller, communication System, Linear Integrated Circuits, Microwave and Optical Communication, Digital Signal Processing, VLSI, Electronics System Design, Networks, Digital Electronics, Electronics circuits and Simulation Laboratories.
The major equipments includes VLSI Trainer Kits, LAN Trainer Kits, Microwave Benches, Optical Trainer Kits, Spectrum Analyzer, Antenna Trainer Kits, Microprocessor and microcontroller Kilts.
The department has sent out 11 batches of students with the credit if University rank holder in the year 1998. More member of students have been placed with National and International companies specializing in computers, Networking, Communications and Electronics TCS, CTS, Infosys, Wipro, HCL, Aircel etc.
The digital Signal Processing and Microprocessor Laboratories and catered to Information Technology, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics, Computer Science Engineering department respectively. The department has a competent and committed faculty team. Staff Profile
